the provincial party committee and the provincial government of jiangxi held provincial science and technology innovation convention and science and technology awarding convention in nanchang on july 25th. ofilm's "wide format high resolution roller mould fabrication technology and application" project won the second prize of jiangxi province's technology and invention in 2015. this aware was given by jiangxi provincial government to those scientific and technological workers and institutions that have made outstanding contribution to the province's scientific and technological progress and economic and social development.
"wide format high resolution roller mould fabrication technology and application" project falls into the domain of electronic information. it was jointly developed by fangyun, yang guangzhou, sunchao, li lichang, dai ye and so on. the project mainly provides wide format and high resolution roller mould fabrication technologies for the mass production of the embedded metal mesh techniques developed by the company. the roller mould fabrication technology developed by the project has been manufactured on a large scale in the industry. the embedded metal mesh ito that is manufactured by the roller moulds made using this project has been successfully applied to the touch screen field, such as the touch screens of cellphones, tablet computers, laptops and all-in-one pcs.the touch screen size has increased from 5 to 30 inches. the domestic and foreign companies that have used ofilm's touch screens include well-known computer manufacturers such as lenovo, dell, hp, samsung, acer, asus, etc and well-known cellphone manufacturers such as lenovo, huawei, samsung, coolpad, millet, etc. the number of cellphone brands and tablet computer brands that have used ofilm's touch screens reaches more than 60.
apart from its application to touch screen field, its broader spectrum of application is that the embedded metal mesh ito that is manufactured by the roller moulds made using this project can replace the ito in oled and opv. oled is the core technology of the future third-generation tv and lighting. opv is one of the future's green energy technology. both need wide format ito to act as electrode materials. however, the high resistance of ito is the short board in its large scaled application. embedded metal mesh overcomes ito's shortcomings and becomes the best technology to replace ito in these applications. related application is under study in "ofilm and chinese academy of sciences' joint laboratory in flexible silicon nanophotonics technology". it's certified initially that embedded metal mesh ito can be applied to oled and opv as a substitute for ito.
currently, this project has obtained the authorization of 3 invention patents and 2 utility model patents, bringing significant social and economic benefits.back
